When one country tries to control <a href=http://waternet.rug.ac.be/ME.htm#resources">the water table of an arid land, what are the people who live around it supposed to think?
Also, the whole Palestinian issue evolved around the fates of people dispossessed, not bought out, by militant Jewish settlers. Being treated brutally by Europeans didn't entitle European Jews to take land from other people who were already living there. Theft isn't as bad as murder, but it's still theft.
You want to believe that all Zionists are Jews and all Jews are Zionists? It's OK with me. You might want to take it up with Itzak Rabin, who changed his mind about things... oh wait... a Zionist shot him.
You can continue to define opposition to Zionism as equal to the position of Israel's enemies. It doesn't wash. Israel will always have enemies, but it continues to make more by taking what doesn't belong to it. That is the strategy that militant Zionism has passed on to the nation of Israel.
Personally, I begin to wonder if Israel, so long at war, would know what to do with peace.
