The point is, Naziism strikes a more strident chord with the British because of the attacks on England.
The other point is, you seem determined to draw some kind of parallel to statuary being raised in Russia, which is being done by Russians, incidentally.
The British have the right to expect a certain standard of behavior of their public figures. That standard apparently includes not wearing Nazi uniforms. The Russians have the right to put up statues to past leaders in their own country if they want to. If you have a gripe about statues of Stalin, your complaints go to the Russians, not to the British.
Unless what you really object to is the fact that the British can't stand the Nazis.
