I challenge you to find ONE post where I claimed all people on the left were rational... (In fact you will find that my most vehement attacks, and the attacks that have gotten me chastized here, were almost solely against those on the left end of the spectrum) Nonsense is nonsense- when I was a student at UT some conservative christians were upset by the 'horns salute'... just goes to show there are completely useless lunatics on both sides...

To be honest, I think the issue here is people wishing to use symbolism that they personally think is rediculous to slander 'the other side' whom they assume believe in that symbolism...

It is a crass attempt at politics, and sanity and logic as usual takes a back seat... I seriously doubt that Eric believes in satan, but he believes the right does and that by 'offering proof' that Bush is a satan worshipper he is some how hurting Bush... Eric doesnt 'believe' that Bush is a satanist, but since it gives him a springboard to say Bush is he accepts that nonsense...

He didnt mention that some democrats have used the same hand gestures, Eric is just a partisan hack like so many others here on the left and right- he is just particularly inept and silly...

I read and criticized the inauguration speech line by line, not one person actually addressed one of my points- (and there were several points that were irrefutable) I doubt most on the right actually read the speech, or even listened to its pablum...

In short, Tom, YOUR side has its embarrassing idiots, as does mine... as long as you are reasonable it doesnt make your position any less rational, nor do the nuts on 'my' side negate my rational statements...

My main problem with you, Tom, is you find the most rediculous people on the left and label all those that disagree with you with those idiots... That is ONE of the reasons I take on the lunatics on 'my side' more harshly than I should
