It's not that easy when they're talking about Iraq being "all about the oil," Afghanistan being "all about the pipeline,*" or any of the other "everybody knows" that get wide coverage in the media.

I could have gone over your fisking of Bush's speech, and fisked it right back. What would be the point? Most of it was just plain snark, and bearing only a distant relationship to the facts.

*Kind of forgotten that one, haven't we?
