You are right about politics not being that clear cut as posts on Space.... but to a limited extent logic still applies- the speech was full of hypocracy and outright lies...

unless you consider the 3/5th compromise an acknowledgement of the value of humanity, or slavery a small 'ooops', or the fact that women were not allowed a vote, if you think that is in agreement with Bush's claim, well I have some Kool aid to give you...
