Again, why the coup? The Iranian communist party was quite strong. Stalin's track record of creating puppet states was well established. The underlying lefty concept that America works in a vacuum would be a good place to start examining for motives of the history that claims we installed the Shah out of the blue.
And I think from the pov of Tito, our fist big CIA action was to prevent his taking over Greece. Or was our fist big coup defeating the Italian commies electorally?
One can, if one works hard enough, totally rewrite the history of the US and turn us into a truly evil country.
