My sense is that the administration
has been happy with the amount of cooperation it has received from Syria.
In any case, Tom's claim that Lebanon's lack of independence show glaring failure on the part of the UN, must reflect on us to the same degree. If this resolution was supposed to help Lebanon, somehow, I don't see that it worked.
