There were many civilians who died in WWII in bombing attacks on legitimate targets. I think the firebombing of Tokyo killed more Japanese than the atomic bombings did.
That 100,000 number is still crap, BTW. You don't take a statistical estimate, and present it as a fact. But I'm not surprised that the Left carved it in granite about five minutes after it showed up.
The IraqBodyCount.net number, which at least counts something, although the methodology is pretty damn loose, is at 18,200 max. They can't BOTH be right.
