More impressed by David than you when it comes to politics. David can be brutally Darwinian. You on the other hand seem hopelessly idealistic and immune to real world examples that such well intentioned idealism doesn't work. I disagree with David based on philosophical basis rather than a belief he grossly distorts the facts. I agree with him that terrorists don't deserve Geneva conventions, unfortunately without due process there is no way to know that terrorists are really terrorists so we can't practically apply that distinction even if everyone agreed. I can say he shows independence from political party lines unlike so many here. I'm also betting DFM is letting off steam here and coming across more extremist on some issues than he really is based on the totality of his comments. I agree with many here that you go overboard in disagreement, but then I have too so I can't hold that against you. Just try to deal with that tendency like I have.
