To get to that number you must include every American who is already covered by some sort of Medicare, Veterans health care or other government welfare-healthcare program. Additionally, you must include every person who did not have helthcare for as little as 1/365th of the last calander year.
The true number of unwillingly un-insured Americans is actually far less than the unemployment rate.
Do you consider a person covered by Medicare to be un-insured? If so, complain to the idiots who were criminally negligent when they designed the Medicare program. The Medicare program is the single biggest cause of skyrocketing health care costs in the United States.
It doesn't deliver cost savings, and it certainly doesn't deliver quality health-care.
Dig down into the numbers. The real scam is that so many in the USA are over-insured.
