You may feel that kid had the right to insult his teacher and disrupt that class because he felt she was an asshole (I have to use that word because it's still not clear to me what she did that merited that outburst). But even if that is the case, should kids have the right to disrupt classes where the teachers aren't assholes? Who decides on the level or type of assholiness that justifies such a tantrum? A kid? Any kid?
I suspect many people, including many conservatives, would find that kid's behavior way out of line. This is not a liberal/conservative issue, in spite of TB's effort to cast it that way. It's a disagreement on how to conduct classrooom discipline. So tell me, is my opinion worthless just because I'm a liberal?
