Maybe your the first because, unfortunately, it's becoming common. Like the problems of poverty and drug abuse, there is no clear "fix" to the problem.

Everyday there are killings in the news. Domestic violence, gangland shooting and murder/suicides. "School shooting" is just another senseless murder that some of us have adjusted to.

You can blame genetics or you can blame environment. It's probably a combination of both but you can only try to change the later.

You can try to take away the guns but as long as the motivation is there, other methods of killing would come into play.

(It's ideas that are at the cause here. If people's minds were compared to computers, most people would have a 2 gig processor. The beliefs and concepts presented by hate groups could be thought of as Legacy software. It won't run on most current operating systems. The kids who do this killing are running 60mhz pentiums and boot DOS. The legacy
programs run just fine on the slower machine. The answer is to find the kids with problems and somehow "upgrade" them.)
