Blood vessels recovered from T. rex bone

The article makes a mistake however. B-rex was quarried in Montana by Fort Peck Resevoir.
Not in crappy ol' South Dakota. :-P

It kinda a funny story. Mary S. was investigating the interior of this thigh bone because it was accidentally
broken. Wrapped in plaster and surrounded with splints, it was being flown out with a helicopter and broke
in mid-air. Most of the bone stayed with the net, and from what I hear the pilot's "seat heater" seemed to
kick in. ;)

Usually these bones stay intact because it's never seemed like there was any reason for opening them.
