Interesting...

Hi gb

Electrolysis in space is a real trope for you isn't it?

Instead of making net O2 plus rocket mix, instead make less H2 and O2 mix plus H2O2 monopropellant, which is easier to store in space than either H2 or O2. 99:1 mixes of H2O2 : H2O are easily storable from what I read on Mark Wade's summary of propellants.

Actually an SPS could be made light enough to solar-sail to an NEO inactive comet and lock on - it could then make rocket fuel, plus refined kerogens, then fling it to LEO using some H2O2. A problem would be the need for active cooling of the rocket-mix else boil-off would spoil the whole enterprise.

Once it's all at LEO what do we do with it? Tank-up Moon-trucks?
