Harrison Schmitt was the only geologist to walk on the Moon. Harrison Schmitt was US Senator for New Mexico. He's god-like with an IQ over 200 and able to leap tall buildings with a single bound. However despite all of this, Harrison Schmitt has spent the last 20 years of his life seriously promoting He-3 mining on Moon. How can someone so gifted be so utterly clueless? It's reality mismatches like this that have removed most of political effectiveness from space advocacy.
