Ask any truck driver: Since the increased emmission standards for Class 8 vehicles have gone into effect the fuel efficiency (MPG) figure has gone down. In some cases by as much as 20%. (Which is pretty big considering that a Semi-Truck with no trailer attached gets less than 7 miles per gallon either way).
