Not convinced enuf to buy
I remain skeptical about the value of hybrid automotive technology. They sell at a premium and the mileage figures do not appear to be all that spectacular. We have several in our vehicle fleet. It will be interesting to see how they hold up and if they are cheaper to buy and operate than similar performing conventional vehicles.
What I am really interested in seeing developed is hydrogen fuel cell technology.
For the record, I just traded in my 1994 Subaru SVX for 2005 Honda Civic SI. The SI is a great little pocket rocket that's fun to drive, yet easy on the wallet. Its supposed to get 32 mpg on the highway. We'll see about that.
