How can you put aside the horror and the defeat we felt while we were rushing off to war to stop those dangerous, dangerous Iraqis? The money it costs us, the lives destroyed and no one can do anything about it.
Yes, GWB smirks. Yes, he feels "lead" to bring "freedom" to those savage, savage Iraqis. Nothing but a power trip by a little man who once owned a baseball team.
Monies for the powerful Bush brothers came from their connections with powerful business and legal interests that came along with their father, allowing them to bilk billions of dollars from Savings and Loans companies, while justice looked the other way and the American taxpayers paid for it. They were able to pay computer experts monies to create a computer program that would change the elections in their favor, and one of the brothers managed to make sure the Florida vote was counted in their favor by taking thousands of poor democrats off the polling lists.
Like you, I have come to accept this part of our history and see it for what it is. It doesn't make it any easier to accept because it was pushed down our throats by a leader who made himself invinceable. All these people must be gulible in their waking lives not to see the truth behind Bush's motivations for the Iraq war. Sometime, somewhere maybe the truth will become apparent to them; however there won't be much of America left at that time.
