If you study the history of Dachau and Auschwitz, you'll discover that the SS personal guarding the camps lived very comfortably. They had all this slave labor serving their every need. Also in the case of Auschwitz and the other extermination camps, the SS had access to the enormous wealth that they stole from their victims. Extreme evil has its rewards.
