As are Canadian trucks.

Do you want the DOT to spend your tax dollars opening branch offices in Quebec, Mexico City, and elsewhere to inspect and certify foregn vehicles before they cross the border into the USA?

And do you want the Mexican and Canadian DOT doing the same to US vehicles here in the USA?

Or maybe we should set up car and truck rental agencies on the border so that every time you cross you can rent a properly certified auto for whichever side of the border you're planing to drive on.

This is a non issue trumped up by labor unions.

How does Buchanan plan to address the fact that many Americans routinely drive in Canada and/or Mexico?

And why does Pat focus so much on Mexico when there are Canadians coming accross the border in droves to live and work in the USA as well?

Something like 2.5 million+ Canadians working in the US? What does Buchanan say about that? Why the focus only on Mexicans?
