re: What's your best hypothesis?

I have Jung's book, though I have never read it thoroughly.
I do believe the psychic aspect plays a part, even if it's in a form of "blowback", as it is a challenging and completely world changing experience that often upsets the psyche.

Each of us was affected differently, albeit profoundly.
I found over a dozen cases similiar to mine along with the similiar beeping sounds and a similiar description of the craft right down to it's dimensions. So here the "psychic" experience loses it's lure, too many people were affected and experienced the same thing.

You want to know what my best explanation is?
I really don't have one. Have had to learn to live with it.
I DO know that Intelligence is all around us in many forms, and the world is NOT as simple or as tidy as everyone would have you believe. There are times and places where dimensions over-lap and they are doorways to other worlds, other experiences.
It shook up my world view.

NOTHING is finite.
Or secure. Not your physical world.
Not your psychological world. Too some degree, if you integrate the experience properly, it vastly widens all of your horizons.
