If I use the 'earlier' button, I'm sure I could find plenty of people bitching about you. Now, I know you are trying to pull an SDAI and go: 'Thats not what I said, just what I wrote'- but you and I were talking about the current issue with RL and this Karl fellow. In this issue, Lee, SDAI, Lindy and you are the only people finding fault with RL.

Congratulations, Frank! Not only did You miss the point entirely, but you at the same time attributed a point to me I was not attempting to make (See also, SDAI). The point is NOT that there is no value to respect on the internet, the point is that when ity comes to moderating this community, 'like' has nothing to do with anything. The rules must be fairly and consistently applied or it is a mob. Indeed, this community may choose to act like a mob- but then I think a lot of people will choose to not participate- including myself.

Polls can be easily beaten. I have access to dozens of computers with wildly different IPs. So do half of the tech oriented people. All a poll would prove is that some people can vote an awful lot.

Now what we SHOULD do is allow a case to be argued both ways, in the open, by valunteers. Then follow it with an open vote. I would volunteer to argue- but I am more and more thinking that the time I spend here is a waste so I am not sure its worth it.
