Spacesuit design is auseful area where the MS could possibly contribute. I used to be a member of Space Studies Institute which would fund research into areas needed to establish manned spaceflight but after a couple decades I became disenchanted with their choices of topics and lack of useful results. It would be great to see the MS stimulate something usefully innovative for space suit design, possibly on the scale of the Plan Soc's long awaited solar sail technical demo.
