re: Legal advice will be all over the place...

yes well sadlly being an adult is something I have come across too soon...but its ok...because you see I have found my love...I know most people would say, like my father, that were too young and we probably wont last...But he and I both went through alot and understand the realities of life...But honestly this questioin was more of a curiousity...because I know there are alot of loopholes in the system you know...I want to marry him only because I truely love him...I can wait though, i would wait as long as it takes... also i am not in a hurry to have kids, or have sex. I can honestly wait. And he said he can too. For example even if we were to get married now, i told him that I wouldnt feel right being together that way until I was at least 18. For me I don't believe in pre-marital sex. Its just the way I feel. And since your a father I'm going to assume youre married so think of it this way... its that feeling of just being able to fall asleep in their arms or with your arms around them. or being able to hold them and knowing they will always be there for you, and that feeling when you see them for the first time after being seperated for even an hour and feeling all warm and happy and full of life when they smile, and when just thinking about them brings a smile to your face. All of this you can get with out being married. But some of it isnt accepted by others because they automatically assume that you are having sex just cause you want to fall asleep knowing they are right next to you. Do you see my angle. But thank you both for the advice. I do understand and for me I think the waiting will just make me enjoy it more when my day finally comes.
Also the two of us are more for the whole spiritual togetherness. You know how there are different customs to being "married" spiritually and symbolically. Like Jumping the broom or the binding of the hands. We thought it would be empowering(would be the word i suppose) to do something like that, since marriage isnt an option for another 2 years. Im just having trouble finding other such "rituals".
Well thank you so much for your advice and for just listening/reading.
