People work in fine dust all the time
The trick to working with fine dust is to keep everything wetted down. Even blue asbestos can be safely mined if water as a fine spray is applied to the mine face (you can safely saw asbestos by keeping it wet or using a water cooled saw).
Unfortunately the martian dust will be a problem. The Apollo astronauts often complained about the lunar dust getting into everything when they explored the Moon (they say it smelled like gun powder??). Lunar dust must be much worse than Mars dust since there is no atmospheric erosion mechanism on the Moon and all dust particles are sharp edged.
