Well, you seems to making some progress in understanding this. Let try to make it a bit more clearer: I will not bet pwokenyaw, because there is no reason to suspect that making a bet about GW or Silent Spring should lead pwokenyaw to understanding of any of these issues.
Different angle: the evidence that should lead you to doubt the claims regarding human causing large increases in global temperature due to CO2 emission is substantial. The evidence that should lead you to doubt that DDT will cause the deaths of birds and humans is substantial.
But you can continue believing in Little Green Men until you die, many people do this- there is no shortage of stupid people on this planet.
