Foreign countries have good medical care for everyone at a lower cost per patient (and with better overall results)than the US plan, which is a essentially a racket run for the benefit of the insurance companies, big pharma, and the medical industry.
Medical care is profitable and becoming more profitable every day, in an otherwise declining economy. In other words, there is no incentive to make it more efficient or more economical. That's simple supply and demand. Economics 101.
Think about it. If you were in the medical industry, would you want ANYTHING to change? Wouldn't you be willing to spend good money to see NOTHING changed? It doesn't take a PhD or an MBA to figure this out.
