A 68 yr. old cattle farmer spots a dead cow on his property that has been mysteriously "mutilated". There is no blood, no tire tracks, but a surgically removed eye, ear and udder. No animals came by to eat the carcass and his own cattle acted unusual around the carcass. Seeing as how "cattle mutilations" exist and have existed since the 1970's in many, many countries and so far there is no good explanation, WHAT could be causing this mystery? "If you haven't seen it, I wouldn't expect anyone to believe it. But if you really see one for yourself, and you understand what coyotes will do, you know it's not predators. But when you see absolutely no clues and no reason, you really have to wonder."
Ever seen a dead cow that has been in the wild for a few days? I have.
Small wounds left by some scavengers are cleaned by insects and look almost surgical... blood is surprisingly absent due to post mortem coagulation.... especially if only small scavengers have had a go at it.... soft tissues are the first to go... I would love to hear medical testimony that the eye was 'surgically removed'...
No animals came by to eat the carcass
Sounds like the farmer found it after some animals did get to the carcass, none of the observations are surprising...
his own cattle acted unusual around the carcass.
What does this mean?! Were the cattle wearing smoking jackets and smoking pipes while debating German philosophy? THAT would be unusual... cattle being skittish after one of their herd has died is NORMAL!
You Know, there is a lot of mysteries out there- the interesting ones are not found in cow carcasses...
