Was doing a quick dash through our local, independent bookstore this morning and saw that Dan Simmons' follow-up of Ilium is on the shelves. I almost bought it: but, I'm going to wait a few days so I can get an autographed copy when he speaks at the bookstore.

It'll be a while before I get around to reading it, however. I'm halfway through Stephenson's "The Confusion", which I am really, really enjoying. But I have to make it a point to carve out time during the day to read it. It's a book that requires reading it in chunks...too easy to lose track and the pace of the narrative if I just read a few pages at a time. (Blame Neal for my limited posting of late!)

How, and what, is everyone's summer reading?
