Revelation Space - a fine series of books. Read them all. My favorite was "Chasm City" a bit off the beaten path in the series. I just bought Reynold's latest, "Century Rain" which is set in a different future. Yet to read it, as I have "Olympos" and "1776" going at the same time. Busting the chops of New Yorkers and New Jersyites as those were the hotbeds of fawning Toryism during the revolution. Washington's comments regarding Torys - priceless. Given the fundamental situation, revolting from THE Superpower, lack of unified domestic popular support and all the miscues we made, it is scary how freakin' lucky we were in that conflict.
