Oh, I fully understand that there are a lot of people waiting with bated breath for the first bomb in New York so they can show that "Bush didn't protect us." There are plenty of idiots who will agree.

Never mind that one point on a curve proves nothing. It's been almost four years since 9/11 and the invasion of Afghanistan with no attacks. Does that prove Bush DID protect us? No points on a curve don't prove that either, but it's as plausible as your idea. Unlike Iraq, we don't have a "rate" of suicide bombings.

IMO, nearly four years in a porous nation like this with NO attacks is downright bizarre, and while I'm sure increased security has helped, it can't be the whole reason. There were no attacks after we invaded Iraq. But there were no attacks before we invaded, either.
