This is not an empirical statement, maybe not even rational, but I have a gut feeling...

....this coming first week of August has something bad in store; something really bad.
August/06/2005 happens to be an important anniversary which some very bad guys
are very aware of.

I know those of you who are "purely" logical, 100 percent rational and empirical
will pooh pooh what I have to say.
But note this: The evidentiary, scientific method based magazine known as
The Skeptical Enquirer has not once refuted or even ridiculed the concept
that Al Qaeda terrorists may finally have in their possession [so-called] suitcase nukes...ones that hare no longer accounted for in the Soviet/Russian inventory.

The writers of The Skeptical Enquirer have in the past denounced and ridiculed
ideas and theories like JFK being assassinated by a large conspiracy; that groups like the Trilateral Commission or the Freemasons control your government; that your government
knows about the validity of flying saucers, and other such trash....

So if The Skeptical Enquirer has not refuted the idea that terrorists NOW have stolen/smuggled nukes in their possession, then I feel I'm on safe grounds to say that
there are too many indications now [not just from fringe newsgroups, or from cynical advocacy
websites] that "time has in essence run out"...They have at least one nuke, and August,06,2005 sticks out there as an obvious date for bad things to happen to an American city.

Not a big, well-guarded city like New York, LA, SF or DC....but something smaller, something
with fewer security assets and with a more smug and complacent civic government and populace, and something that would appear to be the last city any international terrorist would appear to target.
There are lots of examples in America they could target under that criteria: Spokane, Washington perhaps;
or Duluth, Minnesota; or Corpus Christi, Texas or Memphis, Tennessee; just to name a few....

I've got a nagging [even sickening] gut feeling that goes against all rational thinking, but even rationality has its limits.... I hope I'm wrong.
