I think UE will vanish for a while as he's now unable to refute someone's expertise who has viable credentails. I'd made those very points about lunar vs space based Lagrange point observatories here on the HZ several times years ago to Ed. He'd always mumble something about more expert authorities disagreeing with me on dust, gravity, et. al. but of course never supplied the details. He'll resurface here once this embarrasing injection of facts is forgotten.
