Pity that EP seems to have vanished recently - but that excellent transcript outlines every drawback very well - and that it is written by a renown astronomer with long term experience in scientific use of ground, airbourne and space based observatories only goes to highlight the credability of his criticism of lunar based observatories.

Truth be told - one only has to think about it for a very short time to establish how and why lunar based astronomy offers zero benefits.
