No current logic?
FIRST: There was a telescope of sorts placed on the moon.
Nothing to right home about, but it was part of the automated 'science station'
of Apollo 16 mission.
And, logic or no logic, when people inevitably return to the moon, they will
stay longer, even into the dark lunar nights, and they will bring modest 20 or 40cm mirrored telescopes with them to use in those dark cold lunar nights...and they will
have excellent viewing conditions.
And oh yes! They may even assemble and operate much larger telescopes [optical, x-ray,
g-ray, radio, infrared]...
And guess what?...There won't be a damn thing you could do to stop such future lunar developments.
