Anecdotally, I know quite well several 'assimilated' Muslims whatever that means. They work with Hindu, etc. co-workers w/o incident. In the US, everyone runs into everyone unless they stay in ghetto enclaves which DOES happen here but is much less prevalent than in France, Holland and apparently, the UK.
