I have had the good fortune to have as a friend a Muslim (Egyptian) M.D. who was in Fellowship training at the University Clinic where I worked. He and I had many conversations and found we had much more in common than differences. He was a devout follower of the Koran and stated that nowhere did it tell him to kill Infidels. He read it as teaching peace and compassion.

The Radical Islamists are like Radical Christians, Radical Jews, Radical anythings. They pervert their religions for their own political purposes because they crave power. The bin Ladens prey on the disaffected and lead them to their doom just like Jim Jones did with his followers.
