It was my impression that participation in the Knesset was by proportional representation although all offices in that body were reserved to Jews that established their Jewishness by direct links to a Jewish mother.
Non Jewish participation is limited to advisory participation.
The minorities in Israel are an exercise in tolerance and do not imply inclusiveness. these impression were garnered in conversations with a friend whose son has moved to Israel and is currently living there.
If this be error and upon me proved, blame it on the Jews (at least the one's I contact with.)
At any rate, thank you for whatever clarification you can offer.
