Unfortunately I heard on the radio that some of the NO police have joined the looters. One was caught on tape with 6 DVDs while another was seen carrying a 27-inch television.
As the radio report also said, all the people who could afford to evacuate the city did, leaving the poor stuck, as usual.
This should also be a lesson to the Bush administration as to what may happen if terrorists do something nasty to a city. Look what one natural event has caused. US cities are not as prepared as some people claim.
