I can see people taking food and stuff to survive, but some of these people are stealing TV, jewelry and such. What are they going to do with the stuff they steal? The whole city is flooding. You could say, “The stuff they are stealing is going to be ruined anyway", but it’s the principle of it.”

Houston’s sympathy is going out to New Orleans. We are going to help as much as we can. We have been through hurricanes and devastating floods, so we know how it feels.

My wife and I were going to sale our baby stuff. We could use the money, as we are still financially recovering from when I was unemployed for 5 months. But these people need it more than us so I think we are going to give it to them. We may also dig into our pockets and see what else we can give. I just want to be sure the people who need it get the stuff. It is really sad when scammers make the most of these kinds of situations.
