Nope, I'm serially monogamous.
Ya know, Shadow sounds like the spitting image of Jules. I call it "tuxedo" markings, and it always gave him an enhanced sense of dignity, more so than most cats.
He didn't take it well when we moved into the house in the mountains and, for the first time in his life, he had to share a house with other cats. But he quickly established his dominant position. He was smaller than the other cats (the breed tends to be small-boned), but all he had to do was give 'em the evil eye and they gave him a wide berth. It was asymmetrical, because sometimes he'd just start punching another cat (you know, that rapid-fire thing they do with a paw, whack-whack-whack), and the other cat would just look dazed and wonder what the hell was going on.
Every tuxedo cat I've known has seemed to have above average intelligence and a sweet disposition, and tended to be talkative, so I think those are characteristic of the breed. You've got yourself one fine cat there, Lindy. Enjoy her!
