Things are getting really intresting around here.

What so y’all think about this?

Specifically this; “Officials say parents who stay in the area with their children after the mandatory evacuation goes into effect will have their children taken by CPS and will be prosecuted.”

People said the government did not do enough during Katrina- it is doing something now. Some will probably scream they are doing too much.

I personally don’t have a problem with this. If a parent wants to stay and die, that is their choice, but if they have children, they need to get them out of harms way. And if they don’t, they should be prosecuted.

This might be my last post for a while. I think we are heading out tonight. My children are the main reason I am leaving. I would ride the storm out if it was just me, but I will not put my kids in harms way.
