My cousin lives in League City close to Clear Lake and he and his family evacuated today too.
Here in San Antonio, they’ve advised us to break any plans we have for the weekend and stay home. We’re about 170 miles from where the hurricane is projected to come ashore, but they’re still anticipating 50 to 60 mile an hour winds and lots of rain here.
Since it looks as if it’s definitely going to hit us, hopefully it’ll hit between Corpus and Houston. A lot of that area is either uninhabited or sparsely populated.
