The original subject of that thread was a widespread media and political attack declaring that FEMA officials didn't know what was going on at the Convention Center despite it being "all over" the TV news and newspapers. I blew the TV news meme out of the water and pointed out that the Center was not a pre-planned shelter anyway, and you switched to newspapers. You managed to dig up two references, neither of which discussed the convention center as anything other than an evacuation transfer point, and one reference where the center was mentioned in the same line as a hospital and an arena.
The latest line now? That the existence of the news stories doesn't matter, since FEMA shouldn't HAVE to find out from the media.
Flame » in reply to Doing an end-zone dancd at the 50th yard line on a 4th down looks just as stupid here as it would in an actual game. Nor will it put any points on the board.
Really? Don't think I didn't notice you moving the goalposts.

- Something to keep in mind...
- PS, for someone who is admonishing others not to want an god-like government
- This is the most dangerous defense of inadequacy I have ever heard
- How about the government should be halfway competent...?
- "Try and stay away from the idea that the government is, or should be, God. "
- The closer you work with people in government...
