Conservatives have opinions on everything

And that's OK. The blogger you referenced is being properly cautious, knowing that there may well be fire behind the smoke.

My pleasure in watching chickens come home to roost would be pretty mean-spirited and petty if I wasn't also watching the smoke and predicting fire. It's a "sight for sore eyes" after five years of Dubya because I've seen a consistent pattern of deception and distortion and manipulation on the part of the Bush Regime. Holding even underlings accountable is a downpayment on holding Bush and the cronies behind him accountable for their mismanagement of the country. We have to start somewhere cleaning house.

The Plame affair is significant because it promises to shed further light on the Bush Regime's nasty practice of suborning journalists to manipulate the media. The story of Judith Miller's role as, it's starting to appear, shill for Cheney and Libby should be a breath of fresh air blowing through the Bush Regime cesspool.

Just curious, Tom: Is there a line somewhere that even Bush can't cross and retain your support? Is there anything that would shake your faith in the genius of George W. Bush and the saintlliness of his character?
