No CNN or NASA channel then just CBS , NBC or ABC of course!!!!!, I had to set up the 8mm on a tripod and set the shutter manually, I think is was 18fps because there were tips on TV on how to record this with a cam or movie film.(No black bar on film) Anyway, I had 2 8mm Kodaks set up for the moonwalk and Armstrong coming down the ladder, I just let it run and then hit the cable release on the other when that was just about out. Fun times back then and I did'nt mean it was stupid to watch and record, just sooooooooo primitive. gotta check the old reels in the family room and see if there still there.

BTW, networks had actors suited up as astros following the timelines at Grumann on LI and broadcast that when there was no vid from surface. Got the job done and it petered out when 16 or 17 was on surface.
