AMMAN, Jordan — The couple dressed for the party, their bomb belts tucked smartly under their outfits.
But when Sajida Mubarak Atrous al-Rishawi, 35, tried to detonate her explosives — about 15 pounds of RDX loaded with metal ball bearings — amid the crowd of revelers at the Radisson SAS hotel Wednesday evening, it wouldn't detonate, al-Rishawi said.
A lovely couple.
