I disagree

I would think there is enromous potential in this situation, not only to find out out more about Zarkawi and his network, but to treat her fairly, give her proper food and shelter and see if one could reason with her. We know she became militant because her brother (another terrorist)was killed. It appears in some muslim countries, being a Jihadist defending your country is the last resort, honorary thing to do. Not unlike what our own soldiers do, ("defending our country from "terrorists".....even we have to go to theirs....ahem)

If mediators could work with her, pick her brain and ask her what SHE would do to bring peace to the region if given a chance, then maybe she could be used as a mediator herself. If she refuses to denounce violence. then she goes on trial. She'll go on trial anyway, but they could use this opportunity to work with her and her leaders.

By the way Scott, you are a little over the top lately.
You're worse than Lee, and that's saying a lot.
Saying this woman needs to be tortured live on TV would not solve anything. It would just cause more hatred and violence and be an abomination. If you think you were being funny, maybe you ought to go stick your head in a toilet and get a good look at yourself.
