I can't believe someone who has talked so intelligently about economic topics in the past could seriously ask that. Military spending and deficit spending are both well known short term economic stimulous methods. As pointed out below however they have long term negative consequances. I firmly believe the last expansion was one of the best precisely because it didn't start with Bushit economic plans.

I'll be glad to explain in more detail if the problem is more than a temporary case of conservative blindness or a memory lapse.
