re: A small formality

Hi Chris -

Actually, senior NASA management had access to better data earlier than I did -

But you would have to subpoena the archive copies of their NASA e-mail accounts to prove that. Then they could be put in jail for perjury.

But since the simple fact that they never corrected their testimony to the sub-committees is well known to the sub-committees' members, and all that is necessary to remove them immediately from their jobs, all with no fuss and no bother, that's really good enough.

The Langley engineers are the Langley engineers are the Langley engineers. They are the best engineers, which is why NASA hired them in the first place.

There are a couple of ways that impact tsunamis are identified. Usually, impacts generate more
power than earthquakes, so the tsunamis they produce are larger than can be produced by earthquakes. Second, tsunami waves generate outward from impact points or earthquake faults, so by comparing the remians of their effects in different areas, the geologists can trace back to what caused them. The remains of the Spanish tsunami will be compared to the remains of the Canadian tsunami and the remains of the Mexican tsunami, and then the geologists will trace back to what caused them, whether it was an earthquake fault or comet or asteroid impact.

I hope this clears these things up for you.
